Dear Friends,

I’m reaching out for the first time to support a cause that means the world to me — Positive Path Foundation.

As a trustee, I’ve seen first-hand how much this charity changes lives. Positive Path supports vulnerable young adults aged 16+ with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Condition and other hidden disabilities. Most struggle to gain or retain employment, education and training. Mental health and wellbeing issues are common. Yet, with the right support, their lives really don’t have to be like this at all.

Positive Path Foundation is led by parents and members with lived experience, supported by experts and professionals - it achieves remarkable success in turning lives around, building social inclusion in safe, supportive, and truly uplifting environments.

Founded by my dear friend Jane Atkinson, Positive Path offers life skills training, supported employment, and inclusive social programs that build confidence, friendship, belonging and meaningful employment— things most of us take for granted, but which are life-changing for these young people.

Jane’s inspiration came from her own lived experience with her son, George, who was once told he might never speak. Today, he’s a vibrant young man who talks (a lot!), drives, holds down two jobs, and contributes fully to society.

And thanks to Jane’s vision, so many others like George are thriving too — finding purpose, independence, and happiness.

Positive Path Foundation’s success has led to growing demand and we need more funds. From our hearts to yours — please help us offer this unique Positive Path to the many more vulnerable, marginalised, neurodiverse young people in our communities.
