Story
This year, I am taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London because I want to challenge myself in a very special way – both physically and personally. Running has always been a great way for me to balance everyday life, but completing a half marathon represents a completely new chapter for me. It is my very first half marathon and a goal that pushes me out of my comfort zone while showing me what can be achieved through discipline, training, and motivation.
This experience becomes even more meaningful to me because I am not only completing this race for myself, but also raising money for children at the same time. Every child should have the opportunity for a healthy, safe, and hopeful future – regardless of the circumstances they are born into. By participating, I would like to make a small contribution and motivate others to create something positive together.
Preparing for this race is already a journey for me with many ups and downs: long runs, mental challenges, and the constant battle against my inner weaker self.
That is exactly why this half marathon means so much to me. It is not only about crossing the finish line in the end, but also about standing up for something that is greater than yourself.
Every contribution – big or small – helps to make a difference. Thank you for supporting me on this journey while also supporting children.
