My name is Daire and I have been living with PCOS for over a decade.

PCOS is an incredibly difficult and isolating condition that more and more people are suffering from, yet it still is hugely under-diagnosed and mis/untreated leaving many to suffer their condition alone.

One symptom of the condition that I have been fighting for quite a while is androgenic alopecia. Over the past 5 years my hair loss has steadily gotten worse and has been quite difficult to come to terms with.

So I have decided for this years International Women's Day on Friday 8th of March I am going to shave my head and try to raise some money for awareness and support of this condition that too often is ignored and overlooked.
