As one of DSV Mercia Park Solution' chosen charities this year, we have set up a thanksgiving page along side all off our activities throughout the year - every little helps!

A little bit about the charity:

Birmingham Dog's Home has been rescuing, reuniting and rehoming dogs for 132 years. the charity cares 24 hours a day, everyday of the year for stray, abandoned and relinquished dogs from across West Midlands and South Staffordshire. On average they rescue 2500 dogs a year. The yearly running costs for 12.5 acres of land, 120 kennels and 63 members of staff along with all other expenses is £3 million. They receive no government funding as there is no money available in this sector.

What can your donation do:

£1000 - can pay for critical medical care for a dog with chronic untreated conditions

£500 - this can pay for 25 dogs to be vaccinated

£250 - this can pay for behavioral training sessions

£100 - can cover the cost of a dogs first week at Birmingham Dog's Home

£20 - can pay for essential maintenance to keep dogs healthy

£10 - can help to buy food, treats and toys
