Story
This summer, I’m taking on the Brighton & Hove Summer Challenge to raise money for Off The Fence, a local charity working to break the cycle of poverty.
Their three programmes—Antifreeze (those at risk or currently experiencing homelessness), Gateway (women specific support), and Schools & Youth (intervene and prevent)—provide essential help to people facing housing insecurity, crisis, and mental health challenges. From warm showers and referrals, to mentoring students battling anxiety or walking with women overcoming trauma, Off The Fence meets people where they are—with dignity, care, and practical support.
They need donations to keep doing this vital work. That’s why I’m asking you to sponsor me. £10 could fund a drop-in session, £15 could support a student mentoring session, and £20 could support a women through a workshop. Every mile I move, and every pound you give, helps resist poverty, empower people, and restore hope in Brighton & Hove.
Let’s move hope forward—together.
