Story
Daisy:
CRY is a charity that means a great deal to me, after I was diagnosed with a heart condition just one week after my 16th birthday. Since my diagnosis I have been lucky enough to have surgery, recover well and get back to living a normal life. My condition was detected during a simple ECG screening that took only two minutes. Screenings like this should be accessible to everyone, regardless of whether or not they have a referral by a doctor.
CRY provides free cardiac screenings to teenagers and young adults, helping to detect hidden heart conditions early. Their work ensures that other children and young people can receive the same care and support that I was fortunate enough to have.
Any donations to this incredible charity would be much appreciated.
What CRY do:
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
