I am taking part in SwimQuest’s 2027 Isle of Scilly Challenge and raising money for the amazing charity Level Water! The challenge covers 15km across 5 swims in over one day in September.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the water, I’m never happier than when I’m splashing around in the sea (although we’ll see how I feel about that when there’s 15km to cover!).

Time spent in and around water have always been behind some of the happiest moments of life. I feel my most content and confident in the water and often see that same feeling in others too. However, there are sadly many barriers that prevent people from accessing swimming.

That’s where Level Water comes in - they provide one-to-one swimming lessons for children with disabilities, helping them share in the joy of being in the water. They deliver over 70,000 swimming lessons a year!
