In the summer, I was lucky enough to be offered a sponsored place onboard the TS Maybe on the first leg The Tall Ships Races Magellan-Elcano that took me from Falmouth to A Coruna in Spain. The voyage was organised though Roseland Youth Sailing Trust so that young people like me could have this incredible opportunity. My place on the boat was paid for by fundraising by last years crew so I am super excited to carry this on and contribute to the adventure of someone else by running my first ever half marathon! The Eden Project half marathon is well known for its difficult terrain and elevation so I'm looking forward to the added challenge- a step up from running loops around the valley!
