After swearing I’d never run another marathon after my first (those 26.2 miles are no joke!), here I am, lacing up my trainers once again!

But this time, I’m running for an incredible cause that makes every step of the training worth it. I first discovered Smart Works through my role at SheerLuxe when I visited their headquarters and saw their amazing work up close. I was blown away by the impact they have on so many women—and I knew I wanted to support them in any way I could.

Smart Works is a UK charity with a mission to transform the lives of unemployed women. They provide more than just clothes for job interviews; they offer coaching, confidence, and the tools to empower women to succeed. Every woman who walks through their doors is treated with dignity, compassion, and care. And the results speak for themselves: 69% of the women Smart Works helps secure a job within a month. That’s financial independence, self-belief, and a brighter future for thousands of women every year.
