In April 2026, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Dementia UK.

My Nan battled dementia for many years before she passed away in 2020. It’s hard to put into words how truly devastating this disease is. Dementia slowly takes away the person you love, until you’re left with memories they can no longer share. I miss Nan very much, and I share this not just to remember her, but to shine a light on how serious and painful this disease is.
