Story
I have decided to run the Hackney Half Marathon 2026 for the Mental Health Foundation, having not run properly for nearly 2 years. Over the past few months, I have faced my own challenges, and I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful friends and family who have been there for me. However, I recognise that not everyone has access to such a supportive network. The Mental Health Foundation plays a crucial role in providing invaluable support to those in need.
A positive conversation and feeling part of a community can truly save lives and make daily living more bearable. With prevention at the heart of their mission, the Mental Health Foundation works tirelessly to identify and address the root causes of mental health issues. As I'm sure it is for many of you, prevention of suicide and seeing it as something preventible is something very close to my heart. Everyone deserves to live and live happily.
I am aiming to raise £400 for this important cause as I prepare for the half marathon on May 17th, 2026. Your support can help ensure that more people receive the help they need. Together, we can create a world where mental health is prioritized and everyone feels valued and supported.
