I am Daisy, I’m 12 years old and i have set myself the challenge to swim 22 miles (the distance of the channel) in 12 weeks to raise money for Parkinson’s UK. I am going to be swimming in my local swimming pool which means I will have to swim 1416 lengths in total.

My challenge will start on Monday 22nd January and I will be updating everyone with how many lengths I have done.

I want to raise money for Parkinson’s UK because my grampy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 10 years ago. I think my grampy is amazing and he is always there for me (and brings me treats).

Last year I managed to run 50 miles in 50 days and raised lots of money to help people living with Parkinson’s. So I would love to raise some more money to help them find a cure.
