Can we help Daisy? 🐾
Recently, Steve Owen from Birchwood has been helping a young Lincoln homeless man and his beloved best friend, bulldog Daisy.
The good news is that both are currently safe, and suitable accommodation is hopefully not too far away. In the meantime, a wonderful local kennel has stepped in and cared for Rosie at no cost, providing accommodation, food, treatment, vaccinations, flea and worming treatment, veterinary care and much more.
Anyone who has met Daisy will know what a lovely dog she is. She is one of the softest, gentlest and most affectionate dogs you could wish to meet.
Unfortunately, a veterinary examination has identified a condition affecting her eyelids called Entropian Bilateral INC which is causing pain and discomfort to her eyes and can cause blindness or even loss of her eyes.
An operation to resolve the issue is now needed, with costs expected to be around £750.
No donation is too small, even £1 would make a difference! If you can't donate, please consider sharing this page to raise more awareness.
Thank you to everyone who has already helped. This has been a wonderful example of community spirit and kindness.
