Story
On Sunday 28th September, three familiar faces from Dakota Hotel South Queensferry – Kieran, our General Manager, Samantha, our Group HR Director, and Nathan, our Senior Breakfast Server – will be taking on an incredible challenge right on our doorstep. They’ll be abseiling from the Forth Rail Bridge, one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks, to raise funds in support of Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland.
This isn’t just about harnesses and helmets – it’s about our South Queensferry community coming together to support people living with chest, heart, and stroke conditions. Every penny raised will go towards providing life-changing support and services that make a real difference for families across Scotland.
To mark the day, Dakota will also be handing out goody bags with water and pastries from our Dakota Airport shuttle van, stationed at the foot of Hawes Pier. So please feel welcome to join us, pick up a treat, and cheer on Keiran, Samantha, and Nathan as they take the leap for such an important cause.
We’d love for our friends, neighbours, and guests in South Queensferry and beyond to get behind them. Your support, no matter how big or small, will help us reach our fundraising goal and show what our community can achieve together.
Thank you for cheering us on – we’ll wave to you from the bottom!
