Every year, colleagues from across the Dalata Hotel Group work towards raising much needed funds for our charity partners in the UK, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. This year, we’re working with Leukaemia Care UK, the Marie Keating Foundation Partnership ROI and Air Ambulance NI.

As our expansion focus shifts towards Europe, I thought what better way to get involved with these great organisations than to run a half marathon in four of our target cities over the course of 2023. No better way to get to know a place than on foot!

Over the course of this year, I will be running the Berlin Half Marathon (2nd April), the Hamburg Half Marathon (25th June), the Stockholm Half Marathon (9th September) and the Lisbon Half Marathon (8th October). Between races and training, I expect to cover somewhere in the region of 1,000km to 1,200km so it won’t just be all about taking in the sights in these beautiful cities – plenty of pain to be endured running around the streets at home too!
