Story
So earlier this week a group of my school mates and I have decided to walk a marathon... this weekend 🤣 from Birmingham Children's Hospital to my Village in Codsall to signify my Baby son Arlo's journey home.
If it wasn't for the amazing team in this hospital who performed open heart surgery at 2 days old, followed by a further 8 operations, who gave Arlo round the clock 1 on 1 care in intensive care for the first 4 months of his life and the very best specialist treatment and drugs, his chance at life and journey home would never have happened, and at one stage looked very, very unlikely.
Appreciate it's short notice but if any of you can give a little we'd really appreciate it - those who have followed our journey so far will have some idea of the impact this hospital and the people in it have had on us and continue to have on thousands of people everyday ❤️
We'll do some live streaming and share updates throughout the day, and have a good chat about the whole thing, which I'm sure will help process it some more. Arlo will join us at the end too 🙌🏻
