Story
My dad was diagnosed with MS a number of years ago and the MS Centre for Northampton and Bedfordshire has been a massive help during this period. Many sufferers rely on therapy centres to help symptoms and continue living life as best as possible.
MS is a lifelong condition that affects the nervous system and brain, which currently doesn't have a cure, and many sufferers rely on therapy centres to help manage symptoms. It is estimated there are over 130,000 people affected in the UK, with 7,000 new cases being diagnosed each week.
So since his legs don't work as well anymore, why not put mine through a bit of pain and do a ridiculous challenge for this cause. I'll be running 48 miles (just short of two marathons) in under two days doing the 4 by 4 by 48 challenge. This means running 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours.
I'll finish work on Friday 19th May and run until the afternoon of Sunday 21st May!
Any and all donations would be really appreciated to help motivate me through the 2am runs, but more importantly support this important cause!
