To have been successful in the ballot for this years London Marathon means I am not restricted to fundraising for a charity and get a set amount. However, I have decide to run for a charity that I am very heavily involved with and do incredible things for the transplant community. As a trustee for the charity and part of the management for the Great British Transplant team, it only feels right I do this for them. Having been involved for 10+ years now I continue to be inspired by the amazing individuals who’ve had transplants and their courage and determination in their recovery. If people can go through the process of a life changing transplant coming out with smile on their face, then I can deal with some sore legs..

I will never forget the first time I attended a Transplant Sport event, meeting the incredible people both young and old and how it made me feel. Over the years we've sadly lost some inspirational people and i want to do this in their honour.

Transplant Sport is a registered charity whose main aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation. Through organizing sports and social events for transplant recipients around the UK they aim to improve health and well being whilst actively promoting organ donation.
