Every donation to this fundraiser supports Refuge, a UK charity that provides vital support to women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

One in four women will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lifetime, and on average one woman is killed every five days in England and Wales by a current or former partner.

Refuge is the largest single provider of specialist services to survivors of domestic, sexual and gender-based abuse. They run the free, 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, offering a lifeline and often the first step towards safety for women escaping abuse.

This cause is deeply personal to me. I grew up in a home affected by domestic violence, and I know how much support like this can mean to those living through it. No one should have to feel unsafe in their own home, and every person deserves the chance to rebuild their life.
