Story
I've recently been diagnosed with testicular cancer and I'm about to start chemotherapy. Chemo means losing my hair, so I've decided to lose it on my own terms, and make it count.
I'm shaving my head for two reasons:
Check yourselves, lads. Testicular cancer is one of the most common cancers in young men, and one of the most curable when caught early. A quick monthly check could save your life. If something feels off, see your GP.
Children with Cancer UK. As hard as this is for me, I can't imagine what children with cancer and their families go through. Around 10 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer every day. Children with Cancer UK funds research into kinder, more effective treatments, and helps families with everything from accommodation near hospitals to days out away from the ward.
I'd love your support, so please donate whatever you can, or simply share this page.
Thank you,
Damian
