Damian's fundraiser for Crisis

Damian Moughton is raising money for Crisis
To support Crisis, Simon Community and an end to homelessness in the UK, LBG colleagues will be trekking across the Himalayas.

Story

Crisis and the incredible work they do is a cause very close to my heart. In my late teens and early twenties, I was fortunate to receive the same support—being given a roof over my head and access to education that set me on the career path I am on today. I deeply appreciate how life-changing this help was for me, and I am committed to ensuring that as many people as possible receive support in their moments of need.

I will be taking on a challenging trek of over 20km per day through the breathtaking Indian Himalayas, reaching altitudes of up to 3,000 meters above sea level. Despite my fear of heights and the queasiness I feel just thinking about it, I am determined to push through both physical and emotional challenges—including being away from my daughter for two weeks—to support Crisis’ mission. Their strategy and goal of ending homelessness resonate with me wholeheartedly.

I am raising funds for the Lloyds Banking Group Himalayas Trek with a target of £5,000. Your generous support will help provide vital resources and hope to those experiencing homelessness. Please join me in making a difference by donating today—together we can help end homelessness and change lives.
