Story

Hello and Welcome.

My name is Damian known as Yogi"

I am a Full-time Bus Driver, Driver Instructor, and Marathon Runner.

Running is part of my life and I cannot imagine myself without running.

This year I am running 2 Marathons which I qualified for 'Good for Age', which is going to be crazy because I am running 2 Marathons in 1 Week.

Boston Marathon followed by the London Marathon.

I decided that this year I would like to run for a charity MND in the London Marathon. The reason is that my partner lost his wife to MND and hearing stories about how bad it is, also I have friends who lost their loved ones to MND, and I would like to do something about it and with my power of running try to raise as much money as we can (TOGETHER)

We should enjoy each day and make the most of it as we never know where it could be our last day before all the health problems begin. We should take each day as our last day and do what we love to do.

I would like to ask you for any donation, no target for it, just whatever you can. Together we can reach the goal and help somebody to live longer or make their day better! All I would like to do is to share with your family and friends and all on your social media. All the hard graft leave it to me. I will do my ultimate best to run a fast-ish time and spread love and support throughout the race. Thank you in advance. Big Love from Yogi.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However, not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone and it is unlikely they will all develop at the same time, or in any specific order.

Although there is currently no cure for MND, symptoms can be managed to help you achieve the best possible quality of life.
