Most people who know me, know I was diagnosed with throat, neck, tongue and tonsil cancer back in May 2022. And although the year that followed was tough for both myself and my family, I am forever grateful for the amazing treatment I received at the Heath Hospital and the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff

I have now been cancer free for over a year so have decided I want to start giving something back and helping those in the future that will suffer with Cancer.

I have signed up to do Velindre Cancer Centre's Vietnam Trek 2025 with Trek Leader comedian Rhod Gilbert who suffered with the same Cancer and treatment that I did. Rhod documented his treatment for Stand Up to Cancer and is available to watch on Channel 4. The documentary is a great insight into cancer treatment and how it affects the patient and their family and friends.

The trek will help raise vital funds for the centre but along the way to doing the Trek in November 2025 I will be doing several Half Marathons and Treks in 2024 and 2025 to help raise funds.
