Story

Oak ward nursing team (Megan Kennedy, Jodie Robinson, Sonia Begun, Mark Atkinson, & Damien Hall) are incredibly grateful to be taking part in the 2026 Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Sunday 17th May, a walk that pushes both body and spirit to new heights. This challenge is not just a personal journey but a heartfelt mission to support Pennine Care Charity, the dedicated partner of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. Their work goes beyond what the NHS can provide, offering vital services and support for people living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism.

Every step we take during this event is fueled by the urgent need to enhance these essential services. The charity’s vision to create happier and more hopeful lives resonates deeply with us, and we believe together we can make a real difference. However, they cannot do it alone — additional funding is crucial to continue this impactful work.

We kindly ask you to join us in supporting this cause by donating towards our fundraising target of £500. Your generosity will help bring hope and happiness to those who need it most. Thank you for standing with us on this journey.
