Story
We’re taking on the Dragon Boat Race for NI Hospice! 🐉🚣
On Friday 18th September, my colleagues and I will be taking to the River Lagan for the Northern Ireland Hospice Dragon Boat Race, raising vital funds for Northern Ireland Hospice and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
These two incredible services provide specialist palliative care to local babies, children and adults living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
Every year, Northern Ireland Hospice cares for more than 4,000 people across Northern Ireland — at home, in the community and within their dedicated In-Patient Units. From expert symptom management and end-of-life care to emotional and bereavement support, they help patients and their families make the most of every precious moment together.
We’re hoping to raise as much as we can through taking part in the Dragon Boat Race, and every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.
Your support helps make this incredible care possible and allows Hospice services to continue being there for local people and families when they need them most.
Thank you so much for supporting us — and wish us luck on the Lagan! 💜🐉🚣
