My good friend, Martin Walsh, Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth this year. The charity he's chosen for his Mayoral appeal is Zoe's Place Baby Hospice - who's Coventry Hospice is located in Ash Green, which is within the Council Ward I represent as a local Councillor.

As many of you know I cycle a bit to keep fit, so I've decided to challenge myself to complete the Cotswold Classic Cycle event this August. Not only does it involve riding 50 miles - there's also a lot of hills to climb. Nearly 3000 ft of hills, so in return for your donations you get the satisfaction of knowing I'm suffering for it.
