On 13 September 2026, we'll be taking on the Great North Run, a half marathon from Newcastle to South Shields, to raise money for CHAS in memory of our friends' beautiful little girl, Piper. Piper was just 3 years old when she sadly passed away last year. From the day she was born, CHAS provided incredible care, compassion and support, not only for Piper but for her whole family, helping them make precious memories together during the most difficult time imaginable, and even helped make Piper's funeral a personal and touching occasion. The training and the 13.1 miles ahead will be a real challenge, and we're definitely feeling nervous, but it's for such a good cause.
