Children's Hospice South West cares for children with life-threatening conditions by providing children's hospice and professional family support services. They are dedicated to making the most of short and precious lives through the provision of the best possible hospice care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
After years' of contemplation I have decided to raise money for this worthy cause by jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet and free falling back to Earth at around 120mph! I want to raise funds for CHSW because of their work supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families and we hope the event will be a great success.
CHSW was founded in 1991. The charity’s 3 hospices in Devon, Cornwall and North Somerset support more than 500 families across the South West wherever and whenever families need it, including in the hospice, and for families’ own homes.
It costs around £11 million to run the charity’s three hospices and around 85% is raised through voluntary donations.
The first £220 of the sponsorship raised will be funding the cost of the skydive and remaining sponsorship will directly support care at Children's Hospice South West.
