Story

🏃‍♂️ My Challenge

On 31st May, I’ll be taking on the Great Manchester Run Half Marathon in support of the Seashell Trust.

While I enjoy the occasional run, this distance is a huge personal challenge for me — it’s been many years since I last pushed myself this far. Over the next eight weeks, I’ll be fitting in training wherever I can around a busy work and family life, determined to give this challenge everything I’ve got and cross the finish line for a truly incredible charity.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference — not only to the young people and families supported by Seashell, but also to me. Your generosity will be the motivation that gets me out of the door on the tough training days, keeps me going when the miles feel hard, and helps me give this challenge my very best shot.

If you’ve landed on this page, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could consider supporting me by making a donation. Together, we can help raise vital funds for a cause that changes lives every single day.

Thank you so much for your support — it truly means more than I can say.

💙 About the Seashell Trust

The Seashell Trust supports children and young adults with the most complex disabilities, providing specialist education, health, and care services that allow them to thrive and reach their full potential.

Their work goes far beyond the classroom. Seashell creates meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, communicate, have fun, and experience the world in ways that many of us take for granted. This includes specialist facilities, tailored equipment, enrichment activities, extracurricular clubs, and life‑enhancing experiences designed around each individual’s needs.

The Trust also plays a vital role in supporting families — offering advice, training, short breaks, and emotional support to parents and carers, as well as engaging with the wider community. Everything they do is built around understanding, compassion, and a belief that every child and young person deserves the best possible quality of life.

This life‑changing work is only possible thanks to the generosity of supporters. By donating, you’re helping to fund specialist resources, family support services, and experiences that can make a profound and lasting difference to those who need it most.

Your donation will help transform lives.
