We are a group of friends and former University rugby teammates of Dan Hickey, who tragically lost his life in 2015. We have come together for a charity bike ride to raise money for The Dan Hickey Fund, which supports young people through sports and the arts—which were two of Dan's greatest passions.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Dan's passing, we will be cycling 134 miles from Stoughton Playing Pitches in Leicester to Bristol Saracens Rugby Club. The ride will start early on Friday 1st August 2025 and finish on Saturday 2nd August 2025, where we will be met by Dan's family and friends.

Statistically, over the last 10 years, approximately 1,857 people have lost their lives on UK roads each year on average. Our commitment is to ride a minimum of 1,857 miles between us.

With over 20 Ex-University teammates of Dan's committed to the cause means our total combined miles cycled will be over 4,000!
