Thank you to everyone for your heartfelt messages upon the passing of Dan Mewa Dhanoa on Friday 7th August 2026. He was a brilliant statistician, a wonderful father and will be missed by all who knew him.

For those of you that wish to honour his memory, may we ask that you make a donation to Hamilton Lodge School and College for Deaf Children. His daughter Rosie attended here in the 80s and this Brighton school remained a place close to his heart as he believed in quality education for all.

In Rosie's own words: "Hamilton Lodge School meant so much more to me than just a place where I went to learn. It was where I found my independence, made lifelong friendships and created memories that I will treasure forever. Being surrounded by other deaf people gave me a strong sense of belonging, where I could communicate freely, be myself and feel truly understood. I have so many special memories from those years, and the experiences, friendships and lessons I gained there have stayed with me throughout my life. Looking back, Hamilton Lodge was an important part of shaping the person I am today, and I will always carry those precious memories in my heart."
