This event was deferred from last year 2025, after a few health challenges, and moved from The Jurassic Coast to The Peak District this year due to an important interview. Same distance, same gradient - 100k/62miles.

Thanks to those who donated to my old page! £375 was raised on that page. Aiming to reach £1000 with donations on this page.

As with most big events it’s the consistency of training that is the biggest challenge and my training has had a fair few hurdles from injury to family sickness. So my promise to anyone who makes, or has already made a donation, is that I’ll finish the 100k in the 24 hrs given. My aim will be between 16 & 18 hours 👊🏻🙏🏻.

Excited to hit the start line and face the soul searching challenge that these events produce.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

Although there is currently no cure for MND, symptoms can be managed to help you achieve the best possible quality of life.

£85 could pay for an important chemical to preserve 600 tubes of cells when they are frozen

£280 could pay for a person with MND to download their banked voice

£500 could fund a tablet device, giving the ability to communicate with loved ones

£1000 could pay for detailed analysis of DNA to help us better understand the causes of the disease.
