In 2021, my Nan passed away with PSP, a rare neurological condition. As a family we knew very little about the condition. We found PSPA afterwards and want to make sure others are aware they can benefit from the support offered. My cousin and I are running to raise money and awareness for other families who are in the same situation as us. As I will be 18 only 3 months before the marathon, this will be my first marathon and a big challenge but I am excited to be taking part.
PSPA is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). We provide information and support for people affected by PSP & CBD whilst funding research into the causes, treatment, and eventually a cure. Together we can stop PSP & CBD in their tracks.
