Running for Liam, Supporting Joseph’s Goal 💙
In early 2023, we lost our dear friend Liam Sephton, aged just 26. Liam was a passionate supporter of Wigan Athletic, and one charity that held a special place in his heart was Joseph’s Goal - an organisation deeply connected to the club and dedicated to raising awareness and funds for rare genetic disorders such as NKH (Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia).
To honour Liam’s life and keep his memory alive within the community he loved so much, we’re taking part in the Wigan 5k. Through this event, we hope to raise vital funds for Joseph’s Goal while celebrating Liam’s spirit, kindness, and love for Wigan Athletic.
Liam was witty, had a great sense of humour, and loved to bring people together, especially on a match day watching the Tics. He had a heart of gold and an infectious energy that could light up any room. Losing him has left a huge hole in our lives, but we will remember Liam by running for a charity he was passionate about and cared for.
Our initial fundraising target is £200 and every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Your support means the world to us, and helps ensure that Liam’s legacy continues to have a positive impact.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and for any donation you can make.
