Story

I’ve been a volunteer crew member at Walmer Lifeboat Station for quite a few years. Nathan isn’t a crew member but he has a huge respect for the sea and for the RNLI and its core value; save every one.

Over my years of volunteering it’s become apparent that lifeboats and lifeguards are busier than ever before, we have just passed 200 years as a charity and we want to do our little bit to bring in a bit of extra money. To help train, maintain, educate and help prevent the loss of life at sea.

We will be setting off at 0600hrs from John o’ Groats on Monday 6th October 2025.

Our plan is to detour slightly from the usual JOGLE route, stopping at Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) en route to summit these 3 peaks. (The bikes will not be summiting the peaks).

We will be finishing at Lands End, Penzance on Wednesday 15th October 2025.

We are doing this without a support vehicle, all accommodation is booked, the route is finalised and we are self funding. So there will be no costs to the RNLI, all monies raised will go straight to our charity!

We will have trackers on us the whole time. So you will be able to track our progress online.

If you are able to help support this adventure, we would be so very grateful. The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We want to make sure they can keep doing this for many years to come.

Thank you all

Dan & Nathan
