A team of students at Oxford University will be raising money for Amnesty International UK and preparing to trek Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak in 2026.

Story

Hi! I'm Dan, a second year Biology undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I love all things outdoors, having done Scouting for over 7 years, and doing Duke of Edinburgh Gold. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to climb a mountain, so this opportunity means so much to me.

I am raising money for Amnesty International UK by taking part in the Mount Kilimanjaro Challenge. I'll be climbing the highest mountain in Africa over the course of nine-days, facing extreme temperatures, altitude and challenging terrain along the way.

Your donations will help Amnesty International UK expose human rights abuses in the UK and all over the world and to campaign for freedom and justice. Amnesty International UK work on a wide range of issues including women's rights, refugee rights, the human rights impact of climate change and in support of individuals whose rights have been violated.
