I'm running to raise money for the animal rescue charity in Bishop's Stortford for the third year in a row.

2024 I did a half marathon raising £1355

2025 a full marathon raising £1574 plus £200+ from a company that matched employees donations

This year I'm doing more than a marathon but am only just fundraising 9 days before the event!!!

This time it's in the town where the charity is located also!!!

The Stort 30 is a 30 mile run down the river and back on 25th October, it's thin riverside paths with often muddy terrain aswell as stones often in the ground.

Its the furthest I've ever ran before and I know it's going to be tough, but seeing how many animals the arc help and how much in can cost them to help with things like dental work, surgery for dog breeds with problems like skin and breathing issues, vaccinations, neutering, microchipping; not to mention keeping them all warm in the winter and whilst trying to make the enclosures for the cats even better for their welfare. The charity has been going for 35 years and can only keep going thanks to peoples generous donation so thanks on advance for any support no matter the amount.
