In January 2024, Darcy was diagnosed with PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections). She’s developed severe, debilitating ocd & Tourette’s among other things. The challenges we’ve faced since then have been tough and continue to be so. Those close to us know the effects this has had on Darcy. I’m so proud of her for never giving up, and continuing to shine in her own special way.

We are going to try and raise a little money and awareness for PANs PANDA’s Charity, which works to provide critical support, research, and awareness for families like ours.

🧡 Why This Matters:PANDAS is a rare and misunderstood condition that causes sudden-onset psychiatric symptoms in children after a streptococcal infection.

🧡 How You Can Help:Whether it’s donating a £1, spreading the word, or just showing your support, every little bit helps. Together, we can ensure that children living with PANDAS get the care, attention, and resources they deserve.

PANS PANDAS UK are the UK’s only charity for young people living with the post-infectious neuropsychiatric disorders PANS and PANDAS, conditions which develop very suddenly and are often misdiagnosed by the NHS due to a lack of medical understanding.

With your help today!

We can build a future where every child and young person living with these conditions can access the right care, treatment and support when they need it most.

Thank you
