Story
Opportunities to push yourself to the limit and create real impact for incredible causes don't come around very often. While I can't claim that climbing Everest has always been a dream of mine, this feels like one of those opportunities that you simply can't say no to.
So this September, I’ll be trekking to Everest Base Camp at 5,364m with the goal to raise £1 for every meter climbed, which will directly support Demelza Charity and the children and families they deliver extraordinary care to. Because a life-limiting condition doesn’t mean a limited life.
Growth begins where your comfort zone ends. The altitude will test my physical and mental stamina, while the fundraising target will test my ability to lean into my network and ask for support.
If you’d like to be part of my journey, I would be incredibly grateful for any sponsorship or support!
Demelza delivers extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions, throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex. We’re here for them and their families with expert clinical, emotional and practical support at every step – from first diagnosis and for as long as we’re needed.
