Hi, my name is Dan and I like to ride my bike. I have a friend called Luke who also likes to ride his bike. We decided it would be a fun idea to torture ourselves for a day and so decided to sign up for the Tour de Manc. A one day cycling event around the city of, you guessed it, Manchester! of the four routes available we thought the most fun would be the one called 'Mad Manc'....

125 miles with 3000 meters of climbing (Mount Everest is 8,849m to put that in perspective) with a 10 hour window to complete it in. My previous longest ride is 80 miles, when I was 16, 15 years ago... Safe to say a fun filled day of pain, sweat and tears is in store for us. But all for a fantastic cause!
