In November 2024, I was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, something I never expected to hear.

The months since then have been tough. Treatment, recovery, and everything that comes with it has changed a lot for me, both physically and mentally. Like many people going through blood cancer, it’s a journey you don’t really understand until you’re in it.

On 17th March, I’ll be taking part in the Bognor 10k alongside my brother-in-law Mark and my friend Alfie, who also faced lymphoma at a much younger age.

I know a 10k might not sound like a huge challenge to some people, but after everything, just getting back to this point feels like a big step. This run is part of rebuilding my fitness, my strength, and a bit of normal life again.

I’m raising money for Lymphoma UK to help support people going through similar experiences and to fund vital research.
