Maddy’s Mark is a charity dedicated to supporting the mental wellbeing of girls and young women through sport. We build resilience, confidence, and connection by funding school programmes and working with local clubs to make rugby accessible to all.

Founded in memory of Maddy Lawrence, who tragically passed away in March 2022 aged 20 following a rugby injury while playing for her university team at UWE, the charity celebrates everything Maddy stood for. After a courageous fight, she sadly died from sepsis two weeks later.

Bright, loving, and determined, Maddy was a shining light to those around her, bringing joy and compassion wherever she went. Her spirit lives on through this work.
