Story
Last summer, my nephew Callum was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Callum is an amazing young man and dealt with his treatment brilliantly – he showed bravery and strength of character and, as always, put the feelings of his family ahead of his own.
In a moment of weakness, I said that I would raise some money for a charity of his choice once he had recovered which explains why I am cycling from London to Brighton to raise money for Blood Cancer UK on 15 June.
It is ten years since I last attempted a long-distance bike ride and most of my cycling these days is on my Peloton so I would be grateful if you could support my attempt to raise money for this deserving charity.
Blood Cancer UK is a community dedicated to beating blood cancer by funding research, supporting those affected, and campaigning for change. Since 1960, they have invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. They are a fabulous charity and it would be great if you could help me raise as much money as possible for them.
My family knows first-hand the difference research into new treatments can make to people’s lives. Both Callum and I are extremely grateful for any donation that you can make.
If you’ve got this far, thank you for reading this.
