As many of you know my Father, Peter Angel, passed away from MND a decade ago. I have seen Kevin Sinfield complete frankly awe inspiring challenges to honour his friendship with Rob Burrows, and felt humbled by what he has done for the MND community.

I thought, in my own small way, that I should get off my 50 year old big behind and try and contribute. I had never run 5K, let alone a long distance event, before signing up for the Rob Burrows Marathon. I have since discovered Leeds is a rather hilly place. That will only add to the fun...

The training (5 times a week) is tough as you can see from my cover photo! I am determined however to drag my weary bones across the finish line.

I am aware that there are many wonderful causes and that times are tight for many of us. If however, you have a few quid you can spare to help the cause that would be greatly appreciated.
