Story
Our mum showed us the definition of strength and endurance by deciding to live out her terminal illness with us. Every day she smiled and laughed with us and when everything was too tough for her, St Helena's Hospice was there to care for her in her final weeks. We are truly grateful for the love and support they showed her at a time when she was at her most vulnerable.
My brother and I completed her dying wishes by taking her back to a beautiful spot in Scotland and scattering her ashes last year. While there, we vowed to climb Ben Nevis the following year to raise money for St Helena's Hospice.
Please, give what you can to support the hospice and their staff who give so much to the families that are going through the most difficult time of their lives.
Thank you,
Dan and Dean
Btw, in the featured photo, our mum is holding a teddy bear that she won on the first attempt in Spain, she was so good at the claw machines that she often won first time at the seaside and still had the talent later in life :)
