Story
The Royal Signals Charity is steadfast in its commitment to supporting our 3R's and their dependents. We provide benevolence grants to those facing distress or hardship, ensuring that no one in our community is left behind. Our initiatives foster camaraderie, preserve corps history, and promote the education of our trades. In 2024, the Royal Signals Charity proudly supported our community with various grants and initiatives totaling more than £834,000; our benevolence grants alone exceeded £340,500. We directly assisted 1,250 individuals within our community and many more indirectly.
As a member of the 16 Signal Regiment, I am honored to participate in a personal marathon—a 50km run—on February 2nd, 2026. This event is not just a test of endurance; it is an opportunity to raise vital funds for the Royal Signals Charity. Our target is to raise £1,000 to continue providing essential support to those in need.
I invite you to join us in this noble cause. Your generous contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of many who rely on our charity's support. Together, we can ensure that we uphold the values of compassion and solidarity within our community.
I will be running 10km per day leading up to a regimental effort for the final 10km on the 6th February. Covering a total of 50km as a joint effort from 16 signal regiment.
