Shelter are one of my absolute favourite charities.

Nobody should face homelessness alone.

Over the past year, thousands of families have accessed support from Shelter and found security.

Shelter tackle housing injustice by:

- advising people and families about their housing rights

- challenging unfair housing practices

- campaigning for better housing policies

I am fundraising for Shelter by running the London Marathon on Saturday 24 April 2027. And before that, I'm doing a rather more silly marathon - the IKEA marathon!

Me and 99 other runners will be running 17 laps around the Croydon IKEA in December 2026 (let me know if you need any bits picking up, candles, photo frames, etc).

(please note, event description says 'Sunday' for the London Marathon, but I'm definitely running the Saturday!)
