After a hiatus of four years, I have decided that in 2023 I will again start to undertake fundraising events for charity.

I have decided to kick this off by undertaking '2,800 push-ups in February' to support Shelter's fight against the housing crisis and homelessness.

I have joined the challenge to complete 100 push-ups every day in February, fundraising to support families and individuals facing homelessness. The housing crisis is a national emergency. Right now, thousands of people are trying to get by without a safe place to call home. Shelter believes that a safe home is a fundamental need and a basic moral right. Home is everything.

Ever conscious that you will no doubt have a regular stream of donation requests, and being mindful of the current economic climate, I aim to connect with at least 280 people who could each donate £2.80, the price of a coffee, to help raise almost £800 or more.

I, therefore, ask you for two things 1. A donation of £2.80 (or more if you wish!) 2. help spread the word to people you think would be willing to donate and also believe in the power of the collective.
