Story
On the 9th May 2026 my 8 year-old Reu will be completing the 2.5km Inflatable Run in Guildford (dragging me along in tow!). He's super excited about doing it!
Reu is a sibling of a child with additional needs and we are a household that experiences the joy but also hardships this brings. I have experienced the long waits for diagnosis and then the feeling of helplessness after you've got one. So I decided to become a Trustee of a local charity called...Growing Hope Farnham!
This charity provides free therapy to children and young people with additional needs living in the Farnham area and runs in partnership with Jubilee Church, Farnham. They bring hope to children through free therapy services. They grow hope for families where hope has been lost due to isolation or rejection. They share hope in Jesus because He brings hope even in the most difficult situations.
Growing Hope Farnham currently offers speech and language therapy to help children and young people reach their potential and thrive. They also provide support for the whole family, through groups and courses for parents, carers, and siblings.
Right now, NHS services are overstretched, and too many families are left without the help they urgently need. Growing Hope Farnham exists to bridge that gap, bringing practical support and sharing the message that there is hope for every child and every family.
So if you can spare some money, anything we raise will allow us to help transform the lives of children with additional needs and bring hope to their families. Please, please, please give what you can!
Thanks for your support
Reu (and Danny!)
