We’re proud to announce that Young Lives vs Cancer has been chosen as our Charity of the Year for 2026 following a vote by our colleagues. This incredible cause is close to our hearts, and we’re inspired by the work the charity does to support families facing a cancer diagnosis.

After learning more about the charity and hearing some of the stories from our colleagues and the other families they support, we were truly touched and motivated to make a difference. We have lots planned throughout the year, from cake sales to sponsored walks and much more, and can’t wait to get involved.

About Young Lives vs Cancer

Young Lives vs Cancer is the only charity in the UK with specialist social workers dedicated to supporting children, young people and their families through a cancer diagnosis and beyond. They help families with emotional, practical and financial challenges, working to make sure that no young person faces cancer alone.

Their support includes:

-Specialist social care to help families with the emotional and practical impact of cancer.

-Financial support and advice to ease costs associated with treatment.

-Free ‘Homes from Home’ accommodation near treatment centres so families can stay close during long hospital stays.

-Every day in the UK, around 10 children and young people are told they have cancer, and the charity works across the country to give them and their families tailored support
